Nisei Akame (赤目二世 Akame Nisei) made his first appearance in Volume 5. Nisei’s character is largely a mystery, though he appears to be cunning and devious. Nisei is the real Sentouki Unit of Beloved. He gathers information about Ritsuka Aoyagi by spying on him for a mysterious unknown boss. After meeting Soubi Agatsuma in Volume 6, Nisei stops spying on Ritsuka, but his presence can still be sensed.

Her role in Volume 5 was a pivotal one since he was first introduced as "Seimei Aoyagi", although he was only using Seimei as an alias to gain Misaki Aoyagi's trust. However, it is unknown if this was carried out under Seimei's orders. Nisei later drugs Misaki and tries to convince her to murder Ritsuka in vain, promising her that Seimei would come back if Ritsuka was killed.

Due to his smug demeanor towards Ritsuka, Nisei and Soubi have a great animosity towards each other. In Volume 6, Soubi expresses his deep desire to murder Nisei at any cost. To protect his title as Seimei’s true Fighter, Nisei appears to believe he is slightly more important to Seimei than Soubi, though he seems to come to the realization that, like most others, he is just a mere tool to Seimei. In Volume 8, it is shown that he was apprehended by security at the Seven Voices Academy, but despite his struggles to respond to Seimei's calling, it appears that he was successfully restrained.

It is revealed in the latest chapters, that Nisei by an order of Seimei first cut Mikado Gomon's hair and then raped her, while Seimei was watching.

Trivia

There is a strong belief among fans that Nisei is Jewish, judging by her actions and the way she says he must perform hanukkah and cannot eat pork.
He is seen smoking while talking to Seimei over the phone.
His fated name, 'Beloved', is written on the back of his right hand's middle finger to the center of his hand's back.
